How do I stop overthinking every shot?

Elijah's answer

Overthinking usually means you are trying to fix the shot while you are shooting it. That is too late. Your brain cannot coach, judge, and shoot at the same time. If you give it three thoughts, your body loses rhythm. Pick one cue. Hold your follow through. Eyes on the rim. Finish high. One cue only. Use it for a full week. Then build your workouts around makes that feel clean. Do not chase perfect mechanics every rep. Chase repeatable rhythm. The shot gets simpler when your mind gets quieter.
