“I pray but I still feel stuck in a slump.”

Faith does not mean you never struggle. It means the struggle does not get the final word. A slump can make you think God is far away or that you are being punished. I do not see it like that. Sometimes the slump reveals what you were trusting too much. Pray. Then work. Keep both. Ask God for peace, then give your body simple reps it can trust. This week, pick one small faithful action. Show up early. Make your free throws. Encourage a teammate while you are frustrated. Your shot can be off and your spirit can still be steady.
